Our Solution for Audio Book Manufacturing Work
Regarding 1st requirement, we prepared everything well before starting the production. Our people checked all the files from the client thoroughly and advised some changes needed for the files to avoid any mistakes or defectiveness in printing and audio recording. Thanks to our professional prepress people.
Regarding 2nd requirement, we strictly controlled every process for the production of this book project.
Step 1: Digital sample is sent for the client to check the basic book format and paper material. IC module of the audio book is also included in this sample. So, the client can check the volume for custom audio and sensitivity for push buttons.
Step 2: Sample was approved by the client and we then ordered and recorded the audio for IC modules of the bulk order. This process takes a longer time compared with others, and this explains why should this be moved beforehand.
Step 3: To achieve the required color as same as the file provided. We worked out 1 wet printing sheet for coloring approval before we start the run for the book.
Defective Products After-sales
The client reflected there is a 4% defection for the books and required a refund. A refund should not be applied if the defective rate is below 5% since it is a common range for orders in the custom printing industry.
As for goodwill and for our first collaboration, we proposed two options for the client to address this matter.
- We will make up all defective copies for the next order accordingly.
- We will return the money to the client for the defective copies based on the unit price.
Because the client will have a repeated order next time. So, finally we agreed on the 1st option to deal with the client’s complaint and the client praised our good quality assurance for her order. She said she felt relieved to do business with us.
